I have changed my store name from Craftydevilsstuff, to: From Hollys Hands. Let me explain why.
So, in the beginning of my online store adventure, my son, who was a big NJ Devils hockey fan, kept calling me a crafty devil because I create from my own visions and not from kits. Hence, Craftydevil's Stuff was born. Prior to selling online, I sold at juried craft shows, street fairs, mall shows and seasonal historic house shows. Then, I was known as From Holly's Hands. For some time now, I wished I had stuck with that name as it better represents who I am and what my store offers.
I love to craft, I do not make or sell anything I would not buy myself and even if something is an old idea, I try to put a new twist on it or improve on it. I put a lot of love and attention into my work. I am mostly a fabric and paper crafter. I have been making fabric covered albums for over 30 years and have sold hundreds of albums across the country. Now that we are in the digital age, not everyone prints their pictures anymore, so I have diversified into junk journaling as well. I also occasionally paint ceramics ( my mom had a shop which I inherited, but I do not mold anything, just paint the bisque pieces she had already fired), sew, make muslin dolls and craft some holiday items (mostly Halloween & Christmas). I may add some collectables in my store that I did not make that I inherited as well. My parents were antique collectors and my father worked for the railroad and collected a lot of valuable memorabilia.
My blog will still be called: The Craftydevil Speaks, because part of me will always be the Craftydevil, but my store name and YouTube needed this change. So, I hope you find my store to your liking and to those who have purchased from me in the past, I assure you nothing has changed except there will be more handcrafted things from me that I hope you will love!
